Gardening at Glenculloo Cottage

June 14th, 2009

My favorite part about having Glenculloo Cottage, is its rural location in the Glenculloo Valley, fronting the Mulkear River.  An amazing opportunity for me to use my green thumb abilities, well.  Pink flowers I arranged hang above the door, welcoming guests to Glenculloo Cottage.  Won’t you join us for some afternoon tea?

Afternoon sun on Glenculloo Cottage.  Chimney smoking, welcoming my guest Liam who is to visit.  What a wonderful summer day in Ireland.

A Touch of Spring Flowers at Glenculloo

June 12th, 2009

The old stone barn gets dressed-up with a basket of pink flowers at Glenculloo Cottage.  So many wonderful wild flowers growing along the Mulkear River and in the Glenculloo Valley in Ireland.

Ah…Sitting by the Irish fireside at Glenculloo Cottage

June 7th, 2009

I love a turf fire, and enjoyed a glass of Irish whiskey while gazing at the flames.  Wish you were all here with me, at Glenculloo Cottage.

Walking Through Nenagh

June 6th, 2009

Took a walk in Nenagh, the closest sizeable village, about a 15-20 minute drive from Glenculloo Cottage.  Given the recent run of beautiful weather, all the school children were enjoying their classes outdoors.  This is one of a few Catholic schools in the village.
