Breakfast & Beyond at Glenculloo Cottage

Each morning, breakfast is served fireside, and you can leisurely sip your coffee or tea as you anticipate your day. In the evening, you can retreat to our cozy parlor and enjoy a complimentary beverage and light appetizer offering by the blazing turf fire. Glenculloo Cottage hosts your group exclusively during your stay. This allows you to enjoy the cottage as if it were your own, and feel completely at ease.

An Irish breakfast sample:

Homemade Irish soda bread with country marmalade; Irish Oatmeal with honey, nuts and dried fruit; oven baked scones with preserves and cream; yogurt parfait with fresh berries; omelets made to order; and a full Irish Fry which includes eggs, rashers (bacon), pan-fried potatoes, black and white pudding, and fried tomatoes. Steaming hot and fresh Irish tea/coffee are an essential.

Dining

We are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences with advanced notice. The dining schedule is at your leisure; whether it be an early, light breakfast in order to accommodate a full day of touring; a full-course Irish Breakfast; or a late-morning brunch (in case you needed to sleep-in after that late night at the Pub).

Complimentary Dining Features

Each evening, at the end of your day, we provide a complimentary beverage/cocktail by the fireside. Wine, whiskey, Bailey's or alternative beverages are available, and accompanied by a light appetizer plate. It is a wonderful and relaxing time to reflect on your day, plan tomorrow's adventures, and enjoy the smell and warmth of a turf fire. Satellite TV is available for your viewing pleasure.

Glenculloo Cottage can arrange special offerings with advanced notice for a nominal fee:

  • Breakfast in bed
  • Carte Blanche (all inclusive) cocktails - we provide all the liquor to your hearts content.
  • Afternoon High Tea - Irish Tea served with an assortment of scones, sweets and fresh preserves.
  • Special Occasion Meals - anniversary dinners or other special occasions.
  • Picnic Lunch
